Oak Brook, Ill. – Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation (“Inland Investments”) one of the nation’s largest sponsors of non-listed real estate investment trusts and private real estate securities products, announced today that Ravi Bansal has been appointed Vice President, Research and Product Development. In this role, Mr. Bansal will be responsible for facilitating the development of new investment products. In addition, he will provide research and industry analysis to support Inland Investments’ product performance and the overall strategic direction of the investment product line.

Mr. Bansal comes to Inland Investments from GE Real Estate, where he worked in senior positions for more than 10 years with deep experience involving acquisitions, underwriting, financing, structuring and valuation of debt and equity investments across a wide range of real estate sectors including hotels, manufactured housing communities, multifamily and senior living facilities. Prior to joining GE Real Estate, he was a senior portfolio analyst for Freddie Mac.

Mr. Bansal is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received both a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University.
